- A fun, economical way to enjoy many different types of squash in your garden. For a continued and varied harvest, plant a few seeds every couple of weeks. Stretch the sowing season (weather permitting) from early May to mid-July (depending upon area).
SOWING: Sow directly into the garden in late spring through early summer when all danger of frost has passed and the weather has warmed. Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep covering with fine soil.
GERMINATION: 1 to 2 weeks depending upon the weather. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
