Tiger Orchids originate from high elevations of tropical America. These orchids thrive in the cool, misty mountain air. The Tiger Orchids are epiphytic and have fat, egg-shaped pseudobulbs. A pair of long, narrow arching leaves grow from each pseudobulb. Young leaves are often speckled with brown spots. Keep these orchids cool with plenty of humidity and you will be able to enjoy them for a long time.
