PLANTS THAT ATTRACT HUMMINGBIRDS

Hummingbirds are welcome guests to all gardens. Favorite plants include brightly colored flowers with a tubular form.

As hummingbirds feed on the nectar (half of their weight daily) they also ingest the tiny insects (protein source) drawn to the nectar. Additionally, as they feed, they carry pollen from one plant to another thus aiding pollination.
