POINSETTIA FUNDRAISER PROGRAM

Al’s Garden & Home offers a Distribution Program and a Voucher Program featuring our home-grown hanging baskets and poinsettias. Each program is outlined below.

Overview:

Convenient delivery of 6.5” or 8.5” premium poinsettias to donors/supporters.

Promote the presell program to your group and consolidate orders into one master order. Al's delivers the bulk poinsettia order to one location at a date and time that you designate OR you can pick up at our greenhouse growing location. There is a $1.95 per mile delivery fee one way to your location. Delivery schedule determined on a first come, first serve basis.

Sort and deliver your orders OR hold a pick-up session for your donors/ supporters.

Donors/supporters redeem voucher(s) at any of our four retail locations during specified dates of redemption

Determine the quantity of vouchers your group wants to sell OR presell to donors/supporters and pick up vouchers to distribute. Vouchers are the same as cash. If lost or stolen, they must be paid for.
Details:

  Establish a price for your group to resell the baskets to meet your fundraising goals. As a guideline, most groups resell the 6.5” poinsettias for $15 each and the 8.5” poinsettias for $40 each. These suggested prices match our current retail pricing. 

Dates to Keep in Mind:

Begin pre-selling your poinsettias in mid-October. Have your group members collect money at the time they make the sale. Provide a final consolidation order at least 2 weeks prior to your delivery date or pick-up. 

All orders must be submitted at least 1 week prior to your deadline with Al's.

Ex: Delivery date: December 5th Final consolidated order submitted: November 14th

Poinsettia delivery: Friday, November 19th - Friday, December 10th.

Poinsettia delivery is available Monday through Friday with the addition of a few Saturday mornings after Thanksgiving. 

Poinsettia vouchers can be redeemed at any Al’s Garden & Home location from Friday, November 18th - Tuesday, December 6th, 2022. 

Final consolidated order: November 12th 

Vouchers to donors/ supporters: November 19th 

Unused vouchers returned by: November 17th to credit your account. After November 17th, all vouchers checked out will be billed in full to your account. 

Payment: Payment made at the time of delivery unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time. We accept one check made out to Al’s Garden & Home for your invoice total or cash. Credit cards not accepted for fundraising orders.

All invoices are paid in full when you return unsold vouchers or when you pick up your finalized voucher order unless prior arrangements were made. We accept one (1) check made out to Al’s Garden & Home for your invoice total or cash. Credit cards not accepted for fundraising orders.
