Peanut Butter Caramel Dip for Ice Apples

Peanut Butter Caramel Dip for Ice Apples

If you’ve just picked up a bag of Al's Ice Apples, you’ve got the perfect base for an easy, crowd-pleasing treat. This quick dip marries rich peanut-butter caramel with crisp, sweet-frosted Ice Apples ideal for snacks, parties, or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (11 oz) bag caramel squares (about 40), unwrapped

  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (not natural, for smooth melting)

Directions

  1. Combine the caramels, heavy cream, and creamy peanut butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously until caramels melt and the mixture is smooth. About 8–10 minutes.

  2. Pour into a serving bowl and serve warm for dipping. If preferred, cool and store in the refrigerator for later.

Serving Suggestions

  • Slice up your Ice Apples and serve them alongside the warm dip, the crisp, icy-sweet bite of the apples pairs beautifully with the creamy, rich caramel-peanut butter.

  • For variety, consider serving with pretzels, graham crackers, cookies, or sliced bananas and pears or whatever you or your guests enjoy.

Why This Works (Pro Tips)

  • Ice Apples are already crisp and subtly sweet, so the dip adds indulgence without overpowering the apple’s natural flavor.

  • Warm dip + cold apples = delightful contrast in texture and taste. Perfect for holiday parties or cozy get-togethers.

  • Leftover dip stores well in the fridge in an airtight container for up to a week.
